Learning Theorists

  1. Behaviorism does seem like a harder theory than the other two but to me it seems like a more logical approach when teaching a subject like math. I know that there are ways to incorporate the other theories but math is a subject that does require the teacher giving examples and the students repeating the work.

  2. I enjoyed walking through your presentation and learning a bit more of what you strive for in education. These three learning theories do work out great if they are balanced correctly in the classroom. The theory that aligns most with my teaching philosophy is also constructivism. I know that many of us can agree with you in that not every student learns the same as the other students in the classroom and it is up to the teacher to observe and pinpoint those learning styles early on in the school year. From there we as educators can facilitate and contribute to the success of our students.
